All events will be held on Ottimista's front patio. Tasting, educational materials and small nibbles are included. Attendees also receive 10% off wine bottle purchases the day of the event.

Wine Tasting & Seminar: Alto Adige

Join us for a journey through one of Italy’s most beautiful wine regions, located in the Dolomite mountains. Although still relatively unknown, this area is home to some of Italy’s most interesting and food-friendly wines as well as Speck and many wonderful cheeses.

Long known for producing some of the world’s greatest white wines from Pinot Bianco, Müller Thurgau and Gewurztraminer, Alto Adige is also becoming known for its reds. Lagrein, Schiava and Teroldego are all varietals gaining fans outside of Italy. We will be discussing the unique history and topography of the region while tasting the wines paired with typical foods. You will leave singing the praises of Südtirol, the mountain wonderland of Italy!
